Dear Firstname_Placeholder,

Game on! A new journey begins July 3, 2006

We're down to it. Just a few days and we relinquish, as Stevenson popularized, the "landlubber" in us to become way, way too familiar with a really, really small boat that has been nipping at us to for months to head out across the Pacific Ocean. Keeli Quinn is an eager boat ready to hit the big blue, and that's a good thing.

Join the fun - Daily updates from the Keeli Quinn

For those of the voyeuristic nature: Check out the progress of the Keeli Quinn and receive updates (actually volatile, tempestuous comments) from two guys that have been at sea way, way too long by the time you hear from us.

  • We'll be phoning it in - commentary that is - every day to the Project LifeSail website until we make landfall in Hawaii. There are sure to be some "interesting" viewpoints expressed along the way.
  • Keeli Quinn will be one of the few boats in the racing fleet to have its every move monitored by satellite. With a transponder strapped to the stern pulpit, our progress will be updated on the Project LifeSail website every two hours. Check back regularly to see where we are, how we're doing.

And until the race gets started in 6 days, there is the usual fun stuff (Getting Ready, Jeff's Blog, Peter’s Blog, new video) on the site this month to check out.

Aloha and Mahalo. See you in Hawaii.
