Welcome to the September edition of Project LifeSail Campaign newsletter.
With Action Lies Success
Over the past six months, you've read stories of how six different families from the Pacific Northwest to the East Coast of the US met and overcame the challenge of premature birth thanks in great part to their courage and convictions as well as the important research and support of the March of Dimes. Your reaction to the stories has been overwhelming, positive and appreciated.
Expanding Reach = Expanding Impact
This month, we're taking a bit of a detour from our regular format. This month, we're focused on action. If you were moved or touched by their tales of survival and triumph, we're requesting you take one (or more) of the following three simple actions:
- Send an e-mail about the campaign to at least three friends, colleagues or family members asking them to visit www.ProjectLifeSail.org and sign up for the newsletter.
- E-mail the link www.ProjectLifeSail.org in a short note about the campaign to a key decision maker at a company you think would be interested in supporting a great cause and aligning with a truly unique public relations, marketing and community-relations opportunity. Encourage them to e-mail us about our sponsor opportunities.
- Help end the dangers associated with premature birth by donating to March of Dimes. 100% of all individual donations go directly to the March of Dimes to fight premature birth.
Thanks in advance for your time, consideration and efforts to increase the reach and impact of Project LifeSail.
New This Month
- Getting Ready: One ocean race (sort of), one warm welcome to Newport and one ocean sailing weekend (sort of). And now we're one month closer to the race of a lifetime.
- New Video: See some of the excitement that was the Bridge-to-Bridge race from Astoria to Newport, Oregon. Good friends, good times, just not much wind.
- Blogs: The want for wind hasn't slowed the efforts of either of us. Delve deep into our psyche in our latest blogs - Jeff, Peter.
We appreciate your help in expanding the reach and impact of Project LifeSail.
Thanks to our current sponsors for helping make Project LifeSail a reality:
